Artist Statements- #1 These is the Ross building at U of M. The building is very modern which is why I captured its sharp angles and somewhat quirky features. The blueprint conveys its unique aspects and beautiful design.
#2 This is a dorm on U of M campus. The bottom up angle of the blueprints displays its massive size that houses tons and tons of students. The photo on the right is meant to be more intimate and up close.
#3 This is a building also on campus but I'm unsure of its exact purpose. I was inspired by Ms. Giltner's window photograph and wanted to capture something simmilar. Additionally, this photo has the vast perspective the sky can give to architecture shots.
#4 This scence is from a greek house on U of M campus. The blueprint is meant to look almost mystical like a fairy house. This building also uniquely had a moss growing on its walls which gave it amazing color contrast.
#5 This is from a building in NYC in Manhattan. Buildings there have a vertically I typically don't see in Ann Arbor which is why I decided to place an emphasis on displaying it. It's pattern is also interesting with its lined walls as opposed to traditional brick, so I figured it was an intriguing shot
